Homemade Beef Stroganoff

-1 lb. beef (1/4-inch thick), cut into strips or cubes
-3 Tbsp. flour
-salt, pepper and garlic salt
-1/4 c. margarine
-1/2 c. minced onions
-1/4 c. water
-1 can undiluted cream of mushroom soup
-1 small can mushrooms
-1 c. sour cream

Method: Combine flour, salt and pepper. Coat meat pieces with flour mixture. Brown meat in margarine; add onions. Saute until golden brown. Add water, soup and mushrooms. Simmer for 20 minutes. Just before serving, remove from heat and add sour cream. Serve with rice or noodles.
